At The Winebow Group, we take pride in working with the communities we serve throughout the country. Within each region, we participate in a variety of volunteer programs and donate to several charitable causes. Our employees’ charitable work is valued as an integral part of our company culture. Volunteering & Giving The Winebow Group Headquarters - Richmond, VA Innsbrook Corporate Games / Special Olympics Virginia Corporate teams meet outside the workplace to bring their team spirit and best effort for two days of fun competition at one of Innsbrook’s signature events, the annual Richmond Corporate Games. It’s a good time had by all as teams from all over Richmond vie for the championship and bragging rights through a series of friendly competitions like the Jump Rope Jive, Zany Relay, Obstacle Challenge, Summer Skiing, 500-Yard Relay and everyone’s favorite event, the grand finale traditional tug-of-war. Community Kitchen / Central Virginia Foodbank In 2005, the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels came together to build a joint kitchen, appropriately named the Community Kitchen, to cost effectively create cooked-from-scratch meals for children, families and seniors across Central Virginia. Every day more than 3,000 healthy meals are prepared for the Kids Cafe, Summer Food Service Program and Meals on Wheels programs, along with a handful of adult day care facilities in our community. The Richmond volunteers have participated in the Community Kitchen as well as the CVF's Backpack program for Richmond area school children. FOX Holiday Socks FOX Holiday Socks is a collaborative effort of the Salvation Army Christmas Stocking program and FOX Richmond's Public Service effort. Each year the Salvation Army helps underprivileged parents deliver hope to their children during the holiday season. Through FOX Holiday Socks families in need can choose a stocking carefully filled by a member of the community with items specifically chosen for a child by age and gender. In our community alone, hundreds of children benefit from this program. Our offices in Central Virginia have enjoyed buying and gathering donations of gifts for the children in 2015 and 2016 for this very worthy cause. Regionally Atlanta, GA In 2016, the employees of Quality Wine & Spirits volunteers participated in events with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and the Atlanta Children's Shelter. The mission of the Atlanta Community Food Bank is to fight hunger by engaging, educating, and empowering the community. The food Bank's mission is lived out every day through seven projects to help people in need and those who want help. From supporting community gardens to assisting people in finding economic security, ACFB covers a wide range of opportunities for people to learn and get involved. Last year, the Atlanta office participated as Volunteers at the Children’s Shelter of Atlanta 5K Run. Dedicated to helping families overcome the issues that contribute to homelessness, including domestic violence and job loss, the Atlanta Children's Shelter focuses on the long term self sufficiency of the family. Chicago, IL In Chicago, our employees have volunteered at the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the St. Thomas of Canterbury Soup Kitchen and Food Bank. The Greater Chicago Food Depository works with a network of more than 700 partner agencies and programs including food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters, to distribute 160,000 meals every day. St. Thomas of Canterbury's community outreach provides an opportunity to serve their guests in an atmosphere of hospitality and peace. This includes, The Clothing Room which offers clean, donated clothing for men, women, and children in a variety of sizes. Pine Brook, NJ Eva's Village Eva's Village is a great program whose mission is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, treat the addicted, and provide medical and dental care to the poor with respect for the human dignity of each individual. Eva's Village is a uniquely comprehensive social service organization and one of the largest and most respected anti-poverty programs in New Jersey. Our New Jersey office has been working with Eva's Village for more than 3 years. Our employees volunteer regularly with the food service as well as setting tables and filling drinks. Table to Table Table to Table is a not for profit organization that redistributes fresh food that would otherwise be wasted - it is Northeast New Jersey's first and only food rescue program. They pick up fresh and prepared food and deliver it to places that feed hungry people. The Winebow Group’s New Jersey and New York offices participated in both 2015 and 2016 collecting a total of over $6,000 in cash contributions as part of its very successful Bag-a-Lunch program. That is over 60,000 meals! Pompano Beach, FL Broward Outreach Center The Broward Outreach Center in Pompano has been serving the homeless and needy of South Florida since 1922. They help men, women, and children with meals, safe shelter, life-changing residential programs, employment, and housing resulting in transformed lives. The Pompano office participated in the Share Your Sole sneaker drive. Our volunteers gathered and delivered 87 pairs of shoes for the drive. New York, NY Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen As New York’s largest emergency food program, Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen serves a hearty and nutritious meal to more than 1,000 homeless and hungry New Yorkers every day. In addition to the food program, the committed staff and volunteers work with guests to ensure they are receiving full benefits, connect them to additional supportive services, help with job applications and even reunite them with family members. The Winebow Group was a bronze sponsor at the 2016 Farm-to-Table event to benefit Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. In addition, members of the New York office volunteer at HASK on a regular basis. Sponsorships We partner with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on an annual basis with various exhibits. The Virginia Museum of Arts mission is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret art; to encourage the study of the arts, thus enriching the lives of all. In 2015, The Winebow Group was a sponsor of the bi-annual fundraising event, ARTrageous. The proceeds from this event support the museum’s ARTShare program, which is an initiative to enhance the educational impact of the museum’s art through technology. The ARTShare program supports digitizing VMFA’s works of art thereby expanding the experience for visitors. In 2016, we were a Platinum Sponsor of the biennial Fine Arts & Flowers exhibit. Proceeds from the exhibition were used to support the reinstallation of VMFA’s Faberge collection, which is the largest public collection outside of Russia. The exhibit featured 75 floral interpretations of masterworks in VMFA’s permanent collection. In 2017, The Winebow Group is a sponsor of the much awaited Yves St. Laurent: Perfection of Style exhibition which will open in May 2017 at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The VMFA will serve as the premiere East Coast venue for the exhibit, which includes a selection of SAINT LAURENT rive gauche clothing and accessories, photographs, drawings, and featuring new acquisitions never before shown publically.

For 25+ years Grace and Holy Trinity Church has opened its doors and fed the hungry. For the first 23 years or so we were strictly a soup kitchen.  We served the same White Bean Soup with Cornbread every Friday.  In 2015,  we re-opened after our parish hall was renovated with a new outlook and a new approach to our ministry.  We were no longer only a feeding ministry but a hospitality ministry.  We remained open year-round and we started serving full meals on Fridays, with live music, and a healing service at 12:30, which is open to the public.
